September is starting with race momentum, sponsor news, team planning, and a better way to keep track of everything the team is doing.
Introducing The Team Page
We now have a simple team page with current team members, photos, role tags, discipline tags, and a few notes about each rider. It is still a draft for now, but it gives us a cleaner place to introduce the team and keep everyone in one spot.
Team members can send updates, missing details, better photos, completed events, upcoming races, or anything they want included to Alex.
Sponsors, Support + Team Perks
Skratch Labs
Destiny got us a great deal with Skratch Labs so the team can bulk order at wholesale prices. Thank you, Destiny, for making that happen.
Camelback Recovery
Ann got us a sponsor donating $5,000 to the team for next year. Huge thank you to Ann and Camelback Recovery for supporting Regroup.
We will plan a team visit to their place soon. Watch for the poll on when to go, most likely a Friday around 11:00am. Please come in numbers so we can show them strong team support.
Physical Therapy Session
Lindsay will set up a group physical therapy session with a great physical therapist. Thank you, Lindsay.
Tegan Phillips Shirts
Destiny also got us some shirts from Tegan Phillips. Check out the website or @teganphillipscomics on Instagram.
Tegan PhillipsTeam Support Came Through Big
Alex shared her Great Cycle Challenge and Jennifer shared her Bike MS ride, both asking for support and donations. The team stepped in BIG and helped them reach their goals.
This is exactly the kind of team energy that makes Regroup special: showing up for each other on the bike and beyond it.
Race Recaps
Village Gravel
The team did Village Gravel, and it was a great event. This one is going on the race list for next year.
Lindsay got the QOM, Tracey won her age group, and Destiny had a great day, even if she did slide through the finish line.
Ann's Triathlon Updates
Ann did the Anthem Sprint Triathlon, a reverse triathlon, and did amazing as always. Great job, Ann.
She also raced the Mountain Man Olympic Tri in August, finishing 1st in her age group and 4th overall.
September BOS
September BOS was a hammerfest with a small, fast group. Great job to everyone who came out and kept the pace high.
Monthly Training Rides
We want to have one team training ride every month around the Valley, with different people helping organize the route. Each ride needs a lead and a sweep.
Add yourself to the sheet if you would like to organize one.

Jess Mirmelli
Scottsdale, AZ | Race Team
Long MTB rides with steady, long climbs and windy semi-technical descents.
Anywhere at Dreamy Draw when she is feeling techy.
Jess's high school had a MTB club, and she got involved her senior year and was hooked.
Chicken quesadilla with avocado and as much cheese as possible, plus a Coke.
Dawn to Dusk and Whiskey 50.
Studying for her PT board exam, playing the drums, and spending quality time with her girlfriend and their two kitties.
F it, we ball.
Jess has wanted to be part of a cycling community for a while, and Regroup stood out because of its strong group of women riders who push hard on the bike while creating a supportive and fun environment. She was drawn to the team's balance of competitiveness, camaraderie, and genuine love for riding, and she is especially stoked to race together and support one another.
Point Tool Update
The new point tool is working well. Points can now be live updated and kept current at all times, which should make the system easier to manage and more useful for everyone.
Keep logging participation so the tracker reflects rides, racing, team promotion, leadership, and all the other ways people contribute.
Looking Ahead to 2027
We recently got together to talk all things 2027, and we’re excited about where Regroup is headed! The goal is to keep growing our community while building out both the Race and Ambassador programs.
Lindsay is still ironing out a few of the final details with Adam around dues, benefits and team perks, and expects to have those locked in shortly. In the meantime, here’s where things are headed:
- Race Program: Members will commit to a minimum of four races across our 2027 target race calendar, with sponsor funding continuing to help offset race entry fees throughout the season.
- Ambassador Program: We’re looking to grow this crew in 2027! Another goal is to cover Tour de Scottsdale race entries for ambassadors, with the points system allowing teammates to unlock additional perks throughout the year.
- New kits: We’re aiming to have the 2027 roster locked in by October so we can get everyone into our new Giordana kits to kick off the year.
- More hands on deck: As Regroup grows, we may add a few leadership roles to help with rides, events, and keeping all the fun stuff moving.
- More sponsor support: We’re continuing to build intentional partnerships for 2027, which means more resources to support the team and get more women out racing.

This is the first pass at the race list for next season. We can adjust once the team roster, sponsor support, and race calendars are more finalized.
